View Full Version : Best and cheapest way to level off a truck?

whats the best and the cheapest way to level off the front end of any truck? im thinking about leveling off the front end of my 350 diesel, but most kits are up around 400 bucks but found a rancho for 330. leaf springs and shocks

let me know if that link doesnt work....you can just go to jcwhitney.com and search for your truck...then go to under car and hood...where it says suspension and chassis. click on that then look for where it says leveling kit and its the first one.

my lift was free...02 f150 supercrew,just cranked the t-bars all the way and got right around 2 inches higher on the front end.

yea the cheapest (free) was is to crank your torsion bars, or you could buy some coil spacers

yeah the cheapest and easiest way to level it is crank the t-bars, BUT it will ride very rough, and will put alot of strain on your other front end parts, particularly your cv joints

"Best" and "Cheapest" are rarely terms that are used together to describe something.

you might check with rough country and see what options they have for your truck. I'm getting ready to buy a kit from them soon. Never heard anything bad about them.
