what is atco mx track all about?

how is the track? when are they open and what are the requirments? anyone have some pix? i wanna start going to some mx tracks to mess around on i have been to jack frost last year it was nice, and i want to go to chattworth and atco but atco is a more of a not likely because there are no trails only a track i ride with a lot of people who like trails and that have utilities...

I rode there once last summer while on vacation, didn't do very good:mad: But I would like to try it again:)

i went there for 2 months during the summer basically every wed.

its an mx track that you can practice at on wed. and fri (thats how its been i dont know about now that its summer)

you ride the track from when u get there till 11 i believe. its fun id go with ya but my quads gettin the big 03 rebuild

i raced there my first season this year even though i was only 14..its an ama track and its really good condition practices start again in like march on wednesdays and fridays, its turning over to a district 6 so your going to need to get a card there to race also, its really fun there i go everywednesday practice and saturday night races

that is awsome i cant wait... friday night is practice too right? i kno wednsday would be better that way if u break anything or get hurt by sat u would be good but im not sure if i can make it there on wedsndays... unless its in the summer

sounds fine to me some of my friends ride them to so i started riding by myself now b/c there all boring and slow haha ill have a cannibal in a few weeks so ill be flyin all over teh place (probabyl outta control) they open in march hope to see a lot more quads there this year

wanted a cannibal but i heard they are gonna prolly stop makin them... if they do im not buyin a used one it will cost to much to maintain i will just grab me a 250r in a few years and make that better than a c-dale with the same amount of money... really like them c-dales though oh well

how old do u have to be to go to the practices, how did u race at 14, and isnt it d34?

age doesnt matter at practices, its not d34 yet, its only district 2 but next year they'll be district six along with sleepy hollow flying dutchmen etc...i raced at 14 because only i n a few other racers knew i was 14, plus i doubt the guys there would really care, next year would probably be harder as you need a ATVA or Ama card and district 6 card

dang, once i hit 16 im planning on racing d34, maybe i will stop by one of those open practices sometime, but i mainly want to go to diamondback hence it was the only track i actualy felt challenegd on,

hmm dont have piczs but i have movies?..just dont think i can post them

you'll see they open in 2 months the track should be changed up from before, on a 300 u should be able to do about a 50 foot table, i dou bt u can clear the 65 foot table cuz its hard for me on a 400ex to do it ( when i raced one one time) there was a six pack which would be almost impossible on a 300, a huge step up which u just go and jump n land on the middle, theres also a nice 25-30 foot peak landin double which u can probably do once u get used to it, then the rythem sectin which u almost have to do if u want to win, and a step down which u sho uld be ablet do do

thats basically the whole track, and some sx whoops oh yeah and one huge arse 70 foot double wtih a jump thats about 15 foot high you get about as high as telepone polls! i think only a select few 250rs do it...i cant wait to see how it looks

i dunno im in the proccess of finding an R but i will still have the 300 to practice on... i want to see what i can do witht he 300 and then when the R is done in about 2 years ill be sixteen and can race leagaly with it... i think my 300 shouldnt be that bad... did u do it ok on your warrior... cuz a 300 jumps way better then a warrior and if u could do it on that my 300 wont have to much trouble

yeah i had a 300ex for a few months also, it was my friend who went on a 3 month vacation to arizona so i kept it and raced it a few times it may be a little better handler and jumper but warriors just plain out have more power. you would be able to do descent there, and if they have that new class u can do well probably, i raced the 4 stroke C class, which i got 3rd, 4th and a few 5-6th places against 400ex's and all, mostly guys with works shocks or stockers just pipes and no aarms or axle mods, just normal quads, and about 10-12 racing at a time. im not bragging but i can take 400exs on my warrior around the track, its all the rider, so if ur a good rider u'll be fine on ur 300, and have a harder time prolly on ur R as the people on Rs there are awesome

one friend of mine named jimmy is sponsered by duncan, and races a 265 r fully duncan racing bike just like in ATV so thats a guy u may be against, if u moved up to B or A class

ill be in c class for a while i never raced moto but im gonna practice like crazy for a year before racin...

Atco is a good MX track for sure.

One thing I noticed last time there (this past fall) was that the guys on the two wheelers seemed to do better there. What I am saying is some of that stuff is ruff on a ATV cause of the spacing and angle of the whoops etc.

Any chance of them making a seperate quad track now that there moving to d6 ?

hmm who knows, hopefully thatd be great, i almost landed on about 2 80 riders at the last practice because they musta got there bikes n been like daddy take me to the track, rolled every jump and dont know how to stay to the right or left of the track..like is it that hard..pick a side! haha ill drive by in a few days to see if they did any changing, ill pretend im lost or looking for a drag race:o always works to get in

yea they did update the track since last year..in fact its changed almost completely. little longer. im there every wed just about and some fridays. ill be there next wed if some1s plannin on goin. youll see up theres 3 of us with lost creek replica 400s. i dont have any pics but the tracks pretty nice if any1 wants to come there next wed and ride

its a pretty good track i like chattworth better because of the 2 tracks and the trails and theres a lot of friendly people there that allways help u. my friend tommy shinn races atco on his yz hes in 29th place in points i think?
