91 250x won't crank PLEASE HELP!!!

I got a 91 250x stock as far as I know. I was running great, but it smoked bad, I know it needs rings, but anyways it would shut down and wouldn't crank for about 10 to 15 mins. Now it won't crank at all. Any one know why? PLEASE HELP!!!!:mad:

my personal opinion is that u tore up the wrist pin clip...or destroyed ur crank journal where the connecting rod attaches to..... by keep runnin and runnin with bad pistin rings... could b wrong tho...

it could be a number of things tho. does ur bike give like a "click" wen u press the start button?

I can kick it over and over and it won't crank it turns over, but will not start... It's getting fire and gas...

I think the timing jumped, put in a new chain and guides....

A posibility,,, I know this sounds kinda hillbilly but have you tried bump starting it or pulling it behind another quad. If it startes by pulling it, it is most likely your rings. If your rings are too worn out you will not be able to kick it over fast enough to get the motor to start. you could also do a compresion check on it to verify if your rings are bad or not.
