it doesnt matter if its a 2003, u can have problems with it anyway, who cares, get it if you want it, the maintaince is the same as anything else, most of that unreliable crap comes from people that "hear" stuff and spread it around, JMO

Nice bike, but I have a hard time believing that it only has 20 hours on it. If its true, those were a hard 20 hours! Rough plastic? That doesnt happen in 20 hours, I dont care how old it is. it has un original tires and rims, and the fronts are dented, but he might have gotten some used ones. It looks like the paint is worn off the sidecase, but that could be the pic. Not cutting the machine at all, just giving you a heads up, and you might be able to bargin a bit on it.

Looks nice! Most of the time, when people say "about" 20 hours it is exagerated. That is unless it has a mile meter.

if i had money, id buy a 400ex and put it in storage for 15years lol, take it out once a week to clean it, then sell it in 2016 for a mere $10 grand

Thanks everyone for the compliments!! I find it hard to believe that it has only 20 hrs on it too, but that is just what the seller said. I did notice the dented front rims too, but the guy said he trail rode it, so I'm assuming that's why the wheels were dented. The quad is from Michichigan.....And he said he changed the plastic because he didn't like the white and it had a few small cracks and was turning yellow. He also said since he has owned, he has just basically maintained it. I guess he has a 400Ex also, and for the type of riding he does, the 400 is much better. I think I am going to just take my time with this 250 and do everything top notch on it. It's going to be one bad motha!!!:D

good luck and all man but that aint 20 hours

when you have 20 hours on a "R"

YOU SURE AS **** DONT PUT ANYTHING AFTERMARKET ON IT

that would go for at least 5-6k on ebay it it was TRULY 20 hours.
but who cares, as long as its tight pick it up
