it is an 07 drr 90 with a malossi cylinder and crank hetrick pipe with
elka shocks. this is the second quad we have picked from this
website, very happy

nerfs gotta go, will the bolt on version xfr (black powder coated)
fit even though it is set up with the weld on version ?

it came the way it is + the number backgrounds. we had plans
to change the graghics but i think we like em.

also going to swap out the bars with mini bend fat bars from pro
taper that i found online. should flex more than the standard bars

Idon't believe bolt on's will work unless you reweld the floor board tabs back on.

i believe you can still use the bolt on nerfs. Just use the tubes that are on the frame. slide your nerf on and clamp the front down. They should work.

I was in the garage last night thinking of diffrent ideas for new
nerf's. if the xfr bolt on ones will work i'm in. they should right??

I guess i should just unbolt the one's from his 70 to see..

Hetrick has some nice weld on powder coated nerfs but they
are spaced out to far and would have to be re- welded. ugh

Jim,
With the ones you have on now, the XFR's will fit right on. You'll just have to cut off the front mounting tubes.

Have fun

Looks good Jim and glad Brandon is happy with it. We got it brand new from Hetrick and had them install the nerfs before we got it. I've changed a lot since then but the nerfs always stayed. I would think that other weld ons should work(or at least other Hetrick stuff). Good luck and tell Brandon to have fun and tear it up in the 09 season.:D

hi kevin

brandon was shocked for sure christmas morning, we was over
whelmed when he first saw it. same thing happened when he got his 70
totally shocked. he has not been on it yet cause of the
weather, actually there was one day we could of went but i could
not get him away from his ps3.

we have a couple of ideas that want to get done, brandon has the
list and powder coat the wheels and nerfs black.

thanks again

quad junkies, you have some nice quads. attention to detail.
gonna stick with the color it looks better in person then in pics
for some reason. i have not seen a pic of your daughters new quad im
sure its very nice

Pictures never do PC justice as it does in person,I like the way his quad looks-VERY nice and the nice thing too is more than likely no one else has the same look ;)
We still need to get my Brandons bumper PC'd at some point and need to have some misc. small stuff re-done. Its amazing how hard one season is on the powdercoating!:scary: lol
Id like to do the axle like we did on my Daughters it washed up alot easier . How does the PC hold up on wheels? Does it hold up pretty good?
Kelsey is now on a LTR450. She is absolutely in heaven ! She loves her new found power and Dad is loving having one less mini to work on. LOL!!:p

I think the the powdercoating holds up well on the wheels and the nerfs but honestly, we just like the way it looks..

we got about 2 1/2 years on brandons 50 and the powder coat
looks great. some chip's and scratches but that's racing.

tell the kids to have a safe 2009 season.
