i have been looking around for some shocks and looking at the gt thunder stock respring kit and i found on ebay a works triple rate respring kit i am gettin +3 burgard arms (if the freaking ups man ever shows up its been 2 weeks:mad: ) but i was wondering if these would stiffen up my shocks till i could afford to get them revalved so would these help?

springs will stiffen it, but it will ride like garbage until the valving is done to match the spring rates. IMO you're better off NOT getting the works stuff, because once you pay for valving from someone after, you end up paying more. I'd send them out.

Putting extended arms on without upgrading suspension is a bad idea IMO. Especially on +3's its gonna bottom out everywhere.

Be VERY careful with the burgards, the lower arms are notorious for breaking balljoints where they attach to the spindle. You'll notice the lower balljoint is the same small size as the upper... not a good design. They do sell a heavy duty arm that uses a larger lower balljoint.

I've seen my fair share of riders get tossed over the handlebars due to busted lower joints on the burgards. Just keep an eye on them and change them often.

You can use 1969 VW tie-rod ends from advanced auto, they're the same as the balljoints. $15 or so...
