kenny i was there once before and said id never go back cause the jumps suck, but i figure alot of you guys ride there so id give it another chance so we can all ride together.what table top are you talkin about?the one right before the long straight away along the front stretch?
also i kinda wanna to tride the trails out, is it rocky cause my lsr swing arm doenst have skid mounts.

They dont change that track much but there are 3 table tops two small 10-15ft and a longer 50-70ft on the back side. All have a slow lane without a lip for the beginners.

The trails are very tight (why I like this place) and have been very rutted lately which is good too but there are like ZERO rocks just a lot of sand.

Trails are good to get you used to the tight stuff.

Wow this ride is getting close now. sorry for the delay in reply but been crazy busy and have not even had time to ride :(

I plan on going one of the two days and Sunday would be better cause I would have to leave early on saturday. I have not heard either way from Marlin but you never know.

For those of you who have not been there before you may want to bring extra cash or a check with you cause if you do like it they charge $200.00(less for under a certain age but check the site) for the year and you will pay $50.00 for the day but will let you apply the $50.00 towards the $200.00 on the same day only.

YamaWarr0121 , that mount is gonna be close. std ups from cali is 6+ days.

As far as NJORVP is for riding you may love it or hate it depends a lot on what you like and your skill level.

The quad track is not super challenging by any means but is a great track for those needing to work on jumping skills and cornering etc. there are a few tabletops and you can get some good air but nothing like some of the "big air" pics you have seen.

The trails though not very long are challenging due to the tight widths and whoops and rutts found on some and are by no means boring.

One of the good things about this place is that it is in NJ and its legal, so you can spend all day and not worry about the friggin POS waste of skin NJ DEPE div of fish and game officers giving you trouble or worse everythime you stop or when you try to load up your stuff on the trailer etc. One prob you may find is that there are too many people ready to just hang around and BS and that does cut into your riding time LOL but this is a great place to talk with other people who enjoy our sport and exchange info etc.

Myself I joined to have a place to test and adjust my machine whitout having to continue meeting the various officers patrolling the woods like a hunter looking to make a kill, this crap just gets old after a while.

yea lenny i agree about the track conditions, the quad track is rather boring if your lookin for some nice air, but i will probably be workin on my conditioning and runnin laps.hopefully pappy has my parts done so i can ride the R other wise its the 400.

nah we got dittily down here n im 15-20 minutes from njorvp...we got some snow then it rained n went away its snowin right now but nothings sticking i really want to get my warrior out ths weekend for its last ride with me

dont worry guys there wasnt much around here, but I was up in Passaic and bergen co and they have a lot more.

I am a lot closer to the ocean than the park so it melts quicker but there is almost nothing on the ground and my drive and most of the yard cleared themselves of snow.

It may be a little sloppy at most by the weekend.

Funny how many quads were out last night.

I could have rode a older 250x up there but wasnt bad enough that it has a t4 so its a lot louder than fast but I figured I would pass since it has no front brakes and bad pads on the rear :)

i really would like to come anyway but i dont travel alone incase something happens when im ridin then i screwed, sorry.

ill probably end up at our practice track which is much closer to home, my freinds have to leave early so ridin at the practice track is just a better option for this weekend.

Was a good time... Little muddy for some, but still was a good time with friends!:)

Lenny showed up in his usual fashion, his 440 looking like it came off the show room floor!

I had the honors of riding Ron's Cannondale... WOW! and his Z400... I will stick with my 300/400!:) The Cannondale was awesome out on the somewhat MX track... Marlin likes it a lot!:eek: The Z400 had the stock front shocks... I personally would have to change that right away, otherwise it ran good, and the rear shock on it felt great for a 215 pound rider. Thanks again Ron for letting me ride your babies.:cool: I had a hard time keeping up with Ron and the Dale (actually, I did not keep up)... That machine is awesome!

I know John (Quadtrix6) said a little mud will not hurt ya, but try having a 440ex pinned in 3rd gear not going anywhere roosting you while you are trying to push him out of the mud!!! Lots of laughs Lenny... Just remember pay backs!:)

I also had the honors of pulling a Yamaha Raptor out of the woods with my little 300 back to the trailer... Yeah, the Yamaha was done for the day!:rolleyes:

I felt bad for John driving more than 3 hours to come ride... But we enjoyed his company. I did not get to witness him bending his tie rod... But I did get to see him get stuck several times out on the soupy sandy muddy trails... Yeah, those 18" turf tamers were not the choice out on the trails yesterday... Or the MX track for that matter... John... How many times did you get stuck on the MX track??:eek: FYI guys... It was good to see John having Exriders.com stickers on his bike!:cool:

The trails were very muddy in sections... Surprised Lenny went out with us!:eek: The MX track was also very muddy in sections... Some riders even managed to get stuck out there... But I will not mention any names!:devil

the drive there wasn't bad but the 5hrs home in traffic was rough, but it was well worth the trip, me and my brother had a good time. you probably would have wet yourself if you saw me hit that tree, LMAO i went straight over the bars :), that was my first woods wreck, and probably not my last :p. yea i got stuck a few times i stop counting after 50 though.hah. can't wait for the next EXRIDERS ride, thanks again guys

hey lou, the mx track was very small but fun to just mess around on. it was very muddy in one section that i had to pleasure of getting stuck in a few times :o but the trails where very nice, they got rough at times but were way rougher with a bent tie rod :eek: , i told you guys id make it outta there :blah , we should all try to hook up again..:) see ya guys around

Damn guys if you rode your quads that hard I wouldnt have to keep waiting for you all. I guess it was a good thing John helped me cover the quad completely with mud before I rode an inch off of dry ground, otherwise you would be bustin cause I was wheelieing over every sloppy spot, guess I just dont like cleaning it up in the cold

i have to try to make it to the next one, lenny tell me when your goin next time... I will try to keep you posted but I usually go there as a last minute thing, but am thinking on friday afternoon if I can get some things done early.

You findings on that area are correct from what I am hearing from the locals and its a combo of people trashing things and just being slobs that pissin him off and I dont blame him (Think I said that in a post on another thread too) but there are aome other potential issues.

I personally have not been out that way on the quad but it was interesting navigating out there with the 4X4 with all the diff stuff piled up etc. that whole area and even outside of where you talking is still some of the better riding around here and people are still out there every weekend, but just be carefull as I hear a certain "mentally impaired" ranger has been on his personal crusade again and out doing some of his old tricks. Rumor has it that some one is recomending riders wear chemical resistant masks (respirators) and carry mace of their own :D but I have no idea who that is :rolleyes:


As for you Ron... You could have left that last one out!!! Wow that was a hit below the belt, I bet you may still see yellow shadowing the red if your ready to line up that c-dale :D

We were on the red trail. I don't think they were markers for difficulty, but more for length. Blue was the short trail and red was the longer. I even noticed a yellow set of markers.

Guys just be carefull if you try the "white trail" as some have called it (designated by a W in a white square) cause its not a trail at all. :D I hear people have actually claimed to have rode the white trail so you never can predict the level of some peoples stupidity. :D

1. If you guys do go , BRING RAIN GEAR !! It rained all day yesterday out there and i imagine it melted a good amount of snow . Me and Adam were up last weekend and on Sunday it was very sloppy with only a lil of the snow melted . I can only imagine what it looks like right now LoL
2 . DRESS WARM !! No matter how hot we got the fire it is still freakin cold when you are hanging around the campsite .
3. Bring a woman , you can snuggle next to her for warmth at night . Other things too but we won't get into that right now HaHaHa
4.Unless you feel like hangin with the locals , Carter's is a no-go . Dancers haven't been there in months and i'm not sure i really want em back LoL Adam knows a place 3 exits down on RT 81 if you guys want to check it out .


As for me , count me out . I'm going to Maine for a week on Saturday night . Don' t worry though , as i'm tearin ***** down the slopes and partying at night in the condo i'll be thinkin of you guys freezing at TCTRI LoL We'll ride in a few weeks !! Later guys
