I am upgrading my Honda450R bearing housing/ axle carrier to a Lonestar Racing carrier, would appreciate any tips or advice for this procedure. Thanks

If you're getting a Lonestar, make sure you get the billet one, not the cast one. We used a cast one once, it was broke in half when we removed it the next time, it didn't even outlast the bearings.
