I do alot of trails, though I'm going to get into dirt drags this summer.

Your 400ex would be the best in the trails. The 450r isnt as good of a trail bike as a 400ex but the 450r isnt as horrendous as people claim.

But honestly, if you really get hot and heavy into dirt drags, You should look for a cheetah cub banshee. You can find them pretty cheap on craigslist and probably wouldnt have to sell your lt250r.

Even the banshee haters on here will agree with me.. banshee's rule the drag strip.

But if your doing mainly trail riding with an OCCASIONAL drag then get the 450r. You can make them pretty decent trail quads.

And if your worried about stalling, trail tech I believe makes a WEIGHTED flywheel which keeps it from stalling on low-end so easily

i think that would be more expensive than to just sell the 400 and get a 450. Unless you have a 450 motor already and are a fabricator. I would get a 450r unless you slow trail ride. you got to go fast on a 450
