which pipe?

looking for the best all around pipe for a 300ex, but dont want anything real loud. i just sold a dg krome series because it was extremely to loud. which one of these pipes has the best sound for the 300ex?

Well.

I had a white bros e-series on my bike it was ok because it came with the bike. I didnt like the sound, kinda crappy from behind because of the disk but ok if you can get it for a fair price. if you put less disk you can quiet it out.

my friend got a 300ex and there a powercore 4 complete on it and first off, its too long it stick out the grab bar and its plain ugly. The sound is loud and actually pretty good. you can buy a quiet core to make it quieter.

i have a hmf on mine and the sound is awesome, good power gains, and if you dont want all that loud the quiet core is optional.

i had a fmf power core 4 on my 400ex. it was like a loud, light version of stock. i didnt feel any power gains. then i put on my full sport series hmf and.... d**n:eek: .

hmf is where the power is at.

If you're wanting to stay away from loud pipes, I wouldn't buy the hmf. It is one of, if now the loudest pipes on the market, but it does have a tasteful sound. A lot of my friends run them and I ran one on my yzf for a little bit. For the price, you can't beat it.
