Yep it was legal in 08, you do not need to do anything other than jet it correctly.

Those are Power Jets on the Intake Bell, those are NOT legal as far as I know in the limited class unless something has changed in the last couple months.

you can run the power jet carbs on the 09's but they are pretty much junk on a 50 they work better for long straight away stuff

The 21mm Sunworld Power Jet carb is ATVA legal as it is considered the stock carb for the DRX50 2009.

Personally I would prefer the small Mikuni/Sunworld carb on the 50 for MX, but DRR continues to ship with the bigger carb :(


OKO--In our experience they seem to run inconsistent and I believe it is due to poor casting quality. They have the potential to run well, but you always had to cross your fingers to hope they ran the same way each moto.

We have dubbed the "Oh-No" carb :)

I realy like the keihin carb the best for the ease of jet and needle chanes but it it not atva legal. I think the oko is has the same main jet set up where you can change the jet without removine the bowl right ?
