I am selling an 03 Honda 400ex that is highly modified and was used for woods riding. The engine is a 440 and was freshened up last year. At that time I had a stage 2 Web Cam installed with hardened rockers,valve guides and new valve springs and retainers. The head was ported and polished and the valves were reseated. The cylinder was honed and the piston rings replaced. Every bearing in the engine was replaced with OEM Honda bearings. All of the transmission gears were inspected for wear, replaced 2 and 3 gears and then had all of the gears race cut. All of this was done by MRE of Florida. While the engine was down there, they sent the crank to Falicon and had the crank trued and the pin welded for extra strength. I installed a Barnett clutch kit at that time and also installed a Edelbroch 440EX Doug Eichner Series carb. I have about 10 to 15 hours on the engine since this was done. The quad itself has the following:
-PRM Front Bumper
-Renthal Bars
-Burgard +1 Chrome Steering Stem
-Oil cooler scoops
-Oversized Oil tank
-Aluminum Air box with battery and all electronics located inside
-Roll Design Pegs and Heel Gaurds
-Full FMF Titanium Exhaust
-Frame and Swingarm Skid Plates
-High Rev CDI
-G-Force Chrome adjustable axle, 0+2+4
-X Ring Chain and new sprockets
-Twin Row billet Axle Carrier with Twin Row bearings and External Zirc Fitting
-Elka Elite Series Rear Shock with remote reservoir
-ASR +2 up 1 control arms
-Steel braided brake lines
-Works Triple Rate Shocks with remote reservoirs
-ITP Baja Reinforced Rims with Maxxis Razr 2 Tires front and rear
-Full Black Maier Plastics
-comes with a Denton steering stabilizer that I never got around to installing
-new never installed Black IMS 3.2 Gallon Gas tank with all mounting hardware.
