Is plus 2 a-arms to wide for trail ridding or should I stay with stock arms and use offset rims?

You will have people that say it isn't, but you will defiantely be faster with a +1 or +.5 setup. Especially if you're trails are the least bit tight.

You probably won't like the way offset wheels will handle. A set of +1 arms and 4-1 wheels will handle much better.

yeah I say its too wide for trails. On my 400ex I cant even go +2 and thats not even as wide as the 450r its about an inch narrower. +1 would be the max I think you should go

Thanks for the info. I just picked up a 06r for my son and he wants the plus two arms and I,m saying that is too wide for the trails but we all know that teenagers never agree with old DAD.
