my subframe is super low, i cut an inch out of mine. you do run into stupid little problems, like the pipe is a little more difficult to put on but it still works. the front of the seat is a little harder to get on. depending on how much you take out of it the intake gets a little finiky(sp) to get on there. and as far as the heel guards go i had rath heel guards and you could bend them down a litte bit, but after doing that a few times it got old and i bought nerfs without heelguards cuz i liked them better.

how much do you plan on taking out? heres a pic of how low mine is

also are you still interested in the a-arms i have?

Mine is lowered about the same as sprks450's, 1" +/-. I had a piece of a sway bar link with heim joints cut and welded in the ends of mine so I can adjust it up and down. Had it pc'd black. Between welding and PC I got about 70 bucks tied up in my subframe.Looks & works pretty slick. I run nerfs with no heelguards so that wasn't an issue for me. The pipe wasn't really that big of a deal either. The seat is somewhat hard to put on, but again, nothing major. I would say do it. It's a cheap and easy mod.

orang_kawa- I still got those 3 bills for your Houser arms.....
Let me know

o ya thats right! you have to make the brace that goes across the subframe triangular so it dosent hit the shock.

I remember seeing a picture of a sub frame with the ball joints off a sway bar in it. It look really good and i was thinking about doing the same to my quad, but now that i want to find the picture, i cant find it anywheres.

I had around 10mm cut off, lowered the rear over 1".
I also raised my airbox up a bit, and spaced the exhaust out just under an inch, keeping it away from the brake caliper.
