Alright, so I recieved a pair of these for Christmas and they're really nice, but I have one big problem with them. But before I get into that, let me tell you, I have big calf mussles, about 20" all the way around. I wear a size 14 boot. Ok, now to my problem.. the straps are tooo tight! They're extremly hard to get on.. and there out all the way. Does anyone have any solutions for me? The top on is a real pain, today I ripped the thing that holds the strap (not where it clicks down) off the boot (but it pops back in) and I constenly rip the stap out of the holder.. as I am putting it on, trying to get more slack out of it.. help please!!

Thanks

Braup, Do you have "cankles" as well? lol

Well anyway, I guess get a bigger boot size or see if some brand makes a wider boot.

honestly if you can go with any brand of gaerne's or Tech 7's. They have more than enough room for you. If you can find tech 6's on closeout, even better, which you may be able to do with big feet. I wear size 12/13 in boots and have pretty big calves, in addition to wearing the bulky as$ thor force knee guards and the tech 6's and 7's have room to spare. The tech 7's run a little large so try them on if you want to go that route. I found a size 11 is acutally a comfortable fit and it fit better than the 12's.

I would think there is a way to extend the strap or move the mounting location? Maybe not, but maybe you can rig it up.
