I have a 99' ex with a DG full exhaust. I'm looking to upgrade the exhaust and I'm wondering if I should go back to my stock headpipe and get a slip-on or do I just spend the extra and get a full exhaust package.
I don't race but most of my friends have 450r's and I would like to do a better job of keeping up with them in the open.

I would suggest an LRD. If you have the money go for the full system or if you want to save you money go with the s/o.

How much difference is there with the full exhaust as opposed to the slip-on?
If you have a full system DG keep the header.
The DG headers aren't all that bad but the silencers are chit.
Buy like a Motoworks or Lexx MXe slip-on to go with the DG header.
If you have the $$ and want to keep up with your buddies better, theres a couple options.
The best exhaust is Curtis Sparks. Thats basically the top dog. LRD DMC and Motoworks full systems will also give you a ton of power.
The lexx slip on is nice if your on a budget. You can get them for like $177 brand new on ebay, and they are super adjustable. Really really quiet for restricted areas but can be opened up with different tips.
