Should i get a yfz450 or a raptor

Im thinking of getting a new quad when i sell my old one. Should i get the yfz450 or a raptor?I moslty field ride, i ride in the snow/dirt/grass/rain. post which one and why and which one is easier to take care of? help me choose my next quad.

raptor is more of a gas up and go quad. yfz is not so much

hopefully you mean the 700 raptor. yfz is a race quad, raptor is a trail quad. simple as that. raptor's gonna be easier to maintain.

thats another plus for the rapter. i mostly ride in the field, dirt, and i like to show off. so does anymore people think i should get the rapter660? its all down to the yfz450 and the raptor. which one. keep posting

the 660 is junk. plain and simple. what year yfz are you thinkin of getting?

I had a 660 raptor and loved it,BUT I had alot of money in it to like it like wider a-arms and shocks.If you are going to leave it stock,DO NOT get the raptor,its way too tippy,like riding on a bar stool.I started racing several years ago and moved on to a YFZ.Stock for stock,the YFZ is the clear winner,yes even for trails,its not as comfotable,but also not as heavy or tippy which means it can be ridden alot faster and more aggressive. I recently sold my YFZ and got the new YFZR.If I were in the market,thats the machine I would aim for.

i have an 08 yfz and my dad has an 04 660 and we ride together all the time, his is nice but mine is the clear winner, it handles better, i love the low center of gravity for windy trails and it has more snap but there are also drawbacks, besides the stator always going the 660 is a little less maintenence and the power between the bikes is totally different, the 660 is a smoother while the yfz is snappy alot like a 2 stroke, and another draw back is the notorious bog on the yfzs, u can get rid of this but its a bit of a pain in the woods. Now if money isnt an option u should prob. look at a raptor 700 over a 660 they have a very similar susp. set up to the yfz and they handle alot better than the 660s. I have never ridden a 700 but from wat ive heard they are king of the jungle.

the 660 is an alright bike and all but i love my yfz. even thought its not a big "trail" bike, i do fine in all kinds of trails. i love the yfz and the 660 wasn't ever one of my favorites performance wise
