do you have to cut open the frame to get a 400ex motor out of it's frame..??

NO. just take out the motor mounts and anything else holding it in.

dude, peeps dont be an *** to em, i used to be dumb like that and didnt know a brake caliper piston's from a actual motor piston ok..

Yup, that's right. Once that motor dies, it's all over, gotta get a new quad. When it does die, I'll take it off your hands for ya.:blah

FYI- I just got my 400ex a few days ago, I used to ride a banshee, I rebuilt it myself, ported it myself, I put a new clutch basket in it myself,and did just about everything else that you can on it exept rebuild the shocks. and i am 14, so give me some slack

You just answered your question then.....all quad motors come out, even the Honda's.

Ok lemmie get this straight u know how to take a Banshee engine out, port it, and out it back in. But u can't take a look at a 400 and tell weather u have to cut the frame to get the engine out or not?:huh :huh :huh .... Haha sry i just had to get that out.
