what is the approx price just for labor (boring, installing the piston and the rest of the parts) or should i just have a shop bore it, and get a manual and install myself?

thanx, im askin this because this shop by me said it was going to be like $900 just 4 labor, and i laughed at the guy. the kit will come with the sleeve right? and what brand should i get?

Hello,

I just got my big bore kit put in!!
I have a IMS 440 Kit.
I paid $275 to get it bored and the selvee put in.
I paid the dealer another $195 for the labor of put it back together and putting a racing cam, shortened valve guides, valves, and valve springs. I think it was worth it because look you always have someone else to blam when it fails.

275 was just the bore and the sleeve, or with parts also?
