Yep,sounds like oil getting past the rings..

If it was valve seals,I dont think there would be a noticeable amount of oil in the exhaust, but I could be wrong.

alittle update we pulled it apart over the weekend and found that the rings were shot. this is what will be done to the bike when im done. stock 74mm boar wiseco piston, port polish on the head stock cam and valves with a 400 ex carb, also hmf full exhaust and uni air filter. is there anything i need to worrie about running this set up?

thanks,

if i were you.... personally, id wait to upgrade to the 400ex carb... i'd prefer steppin up to a stage 1 cam and upgrading your valves and get a big bore kit before using the 400ex carb.

also, how long have u bein riding with the shot rings?? if i were you. i would advise getting ur cylinder sleeve glazed(because shot rings lead to scored cylinder walls).....if u decide not to get the big bore kit.
