I bought the same one you are looking at on motosport.com about 1 month ago. I went with the 13 f/39 r. What a huge difference in bottom end, keep in mind lower gearing means more shifting, but it rips now!!! well worth the price...

I believe it was 140.00...Includes front and rear sprocket as well as 100 link chain.....great deal for everything. Here is the link.

I'm running 13/39 renthals and am happy with the acceleration. Never ran it with stock sprockets so I don't know the difference. Even after about 6 months of riding, even being aluminum the rear sprocket looks good still.

i rode for 2 months with stock and then switched to 13/39 so it was a definite snappy first through third....

dang a 2006 and the chain went? I have an 04 and its still got life on the sprokets and chain. When mine needs replacing I think i'm going to a 15/39. I love my gearing but 3rd gear doesnt have enough snap to throw a wall of sand and really rev high enough in a turn and 2nd gear is too slow and revs too high although it will throw a good roost. My future mods might cure that sluggish 3rd gear though. Theres a company that has a chain and sprockets for like $410 or something crazy like that but if you use both their chain and sprocket its a lifetime guarantee it wont break or wear. Sounds good maybe for a serious racer but for the average rider how many sprockets and chains do you go through in the quads lifetime. not a whole lot I havent replaced mine and its still good being 5 years old. The only thing that started to go was the battery it wont hold a charge for more than 2 days but it will recharge and work great in that time just gotta start it every other day.
