alright I may be interested in an Xtreme and need some help. My son currently has a built up Apex that he races, however we need something for trail riding. I really like the 4 stroke idea for the trails, I also like the option of adding a manual clutch since I feel it would be easier to teach him on a small quad while he is still young. I guess my question is what exactly should I get? I have heard that the 90 is better than the 125? I plan on building it up or puting a bigger motor in later since that is just what we end up doing with everything. For now I want the most reliability and to add the hand clutch. Any help would be appreciated.

We have three of them now, So I kinda like them..lol Like every quad out there, they have their little problems, Buy a big bottle of red loctite.... I think they would be great for trail riding, I would look into a rear shock first, then some fronts, but dont fotget the loctite, these things come loose everywhere, keep a close eye on his front end.

Also type pitster pro fxr 150r on youtube to see how well a 150cc Gpx engine with a tb head can perform in a quad.

This may be sombody stating that there was no man.shift kits for the 125,only the 90 and 70?.May be some info on an earlyer tread, trying to learn more about this quad my self.

Most threads that I've been reading of peeps that have the 90's regret not getting the 125. There is a noticeable difference in power between the two. That is funny that there's no maual clutch kit for the 125 but there is for the smaller bikes. If I go that route I'll just end up putting a GPX or something in it. For now though, I love the way this motor performs for my son and don't see me doing any drastic changes in terms of performance for awhile.

It was about converting semi autos to man.shift.
