im looking for a elka lt rear shock with link it doesnt matter if it needs to be serviced cuz i plan on sending it out with my fronts. i have a set of itp beadlocks with re-enforcement ring and baja fronts im willing to trade. these are in awsome condition fully polished. may be willing to do wheels plus some cash for a rear shock

hey whats up i got an elka elite rear shock as well as some long travel elites up front for a yfz.rear is a dual rate with hypercoil springs.Can make you a killer deal if your interested in both.Just rear shock i'd take 400,fronts i'd take 400 and all together id do 700 plus shipping

im looking for the dual i think havent really heard of the single though. whats the differnce? is that the difference between the lt and the standard travel rear? sorry yfzfelix is my dad i was using his account.

check the elka website one is $225 and one is $395 the firat one is a big improvement the dual pro is great improvement and uses a 17.5" shock

well if i could get the dual i would love to but right about now anything is better then stock. it has way to much rebound for me and being that the front is a lt elka set up i need someting stat!

I have one of the Elka links ($225 one) it works great and I upgraded to the dual link. I will sell the regular link which you can use on a stock shock until you get a better upgrade. I will let it go for $125 shipped.

as for the dual link are both links red? i see a shock here with 2 links but he doesnt know what the eye to eye mesur. is. one is billet and the other is elka red colored

one link will be red the other may be black or silver make sure that it is the one for the 04/05 and not for 60-09 let me know where you saw it and I can tell you which one it is.

thats a 400ex link. it will work on a 450r but there is a slight difference just make sure that the shock is for a 450 there is a length difference.

i guess the rear shock measures out to be 15.5 for the rear i dont think that is what i need. but you have been real helpfull maybe you can tell me if its long enuf or not

a 15.5" is for a 400ex, a 450r shock for that style link should be 14.75"

no it won't work correctly. your quad will sit a little too high in the back and will bottom out way too early.

thanks alot man, its nice you told me that other wise i would have wasted some money. you have been a bunch of help. well i guess its back to the drawing board!
