Rebuilding Elkas

Is it true that your local shop can't rebuild elkas? that the only way to get them rebuilt is to actually send them to elka and pay big $$$$?

No it's not true. There are tons of people who are certified by elka to rebuild their shocks... my advice... dont use any of them and definitely do not send them back to elka.

I'd send them to either Laz @ GT Thunder or Colby @ C&D racing. I've used Colby in the past for all my shock rebuilding, awesome guy to work with.
