i took the a arms off my 87 R to paint them and am going to be reassembling the front end. i need to know the torque specs on a few of the nuts/bolts.

1. the bolts that hold the a-arm onto the frame.
2. the nuts the go onto the ball joints that hold on the knuckle/ spindle. i know these use cotter pins, i just need to know how much to tighten them before using the cotter pins.
3. the nuts that hold the upper ball joints onto the upper a arms.

thanks guys. i will post pics as soon as it is back together.

I dont know anyone that uses a torque wrench for those.
what i would use as a general rule of thumb is wrist tight if you understand what i mean.
basically tighten it as much as you an with one wrist.
