Just got a brand new pair of sixsixone hurricane boots for xmas! they are the all white ones though. I never had an all white pair. just wondering how they hold up. i would imagine they get dirty fast. i hope not though, cuz they r sweet!

thanks guy.

mine are fine. Pressure washing takes off all the dirt and stains.

just keep up with them. if you leave mud on them for a long period of time they will stain. its no big deal though, a Mr. Clean magic eraser will get most stains off.

i've had my white alpinestar tech 8's for about 7 years now.. raced with them for 2 straight years , trail rode with them for another 4 , and started racing this past year with them and while they don't look like new exactly, cleaning them after every ride has mine looking pretty damn good still. they clean up really well !!

i was reading in Quad mag and they say to use Comet to keep them shining white

i have not tried this so i do not know if it works or not

Yeah....just keep up on cleaning, and it's all good.

Scuffs will show on white, the dirt seems to really stick in the scuffs on my boots...but not too bad really.

I just get the big stuff off, then take them to the sink and go at them with a good sponge and Dawn...cleans them up well.

also ruins the leather...

Honestly, try shout. I use it on the bike and the boots. You will not believe how well that stuff works and for $2 a bottle it's cheap. Best bike/gear cleaner I've used besides suzuki bike wash.

haha and yes I have white tech 6's, 7's, and gaerne sg10's and I've found shout to work the best. Degreaser will also work, but sometimes drys out the leather.

how do you use shout? do you dilute it with water and spray it on or what?

Just spray it on use a brush. I heard about using it as a bike wash from guys on TT and it works great. It doesn't dull the aluminum and ruin the finishes like other cleaners and works just as well. I used to use purple power and some orange stuff, but after it took the coating off of my fork tubes on my one rm I never used it again. haha I use it to pre treat my gear and wash my bike all at once. The mr. clean eraser also works well.

I busted out a BRAND NEW pair of WHITE Berik OVS riding boots on one of my muddiest races ever... check out the pics. By the end of the race you couldn't tell if I was wearing white or black boots. They came very clean. The only visible mark that has remained on my boots is the left foot has a silver mark on top of the toes from the aluminum wearing off of my shifter. Other than that they come very clean. I shower them with simple green then just use a soft brush and garden hose. Works like a charm.

Here's me on the starting line...

The pics dont do it justice, some spots had over a foot of standing water. I actually had all I could do to navigate the course without going off because traction was so terrible...
