Hey is there a big diference between the way the yz426 and the trx 250r. which is better for mx. and which is faster

One is 2-stroke...one is 4-stroke....that's a pretty big difference. It's all about the rider pretty much. Jeremiah Jones won the last 250 Pro Championship on a 2-stroke...both are good for MX, and both are fast. There is too many factors to put in a solid opinion on it...a stock YZ426 in a Laeger's chassis would be faster than a stock 250R in the same chassis.

Start modding both and it becomes a different story.


I'd say just go buy a new YFZ450.
