Does anyone know what issue it was in Dirtwheels that the 400ex was introduced in? I would like to see it or buy it, interested in what it says. I actually don't even know if dirtwheels was around then but i believe they were.
Sorry if there is another thread about this, searched and couldn't find, I also went to their website but couldn't find it

I would have to say mid 1998 because the 400 was introduced in 99!!! not sure exactly what month though email dirtwheels they will tell you!!

Did you try e-mailing them and asking? I bet they can point you in the direction of where to get a back issue, also.

That would be the first thing I would do.

Im sure if you checked their wedsite you might find something. They won BAJA on a 400ex in 99. I know that they are very proud of that, because I have read it in the MAG. GOOD LUCK on your hunt!!!!! That will be a cool collectable.

i read a dirtwheels mag back in 1983 i was little and just wished i had one.

I try to keep all of my issues. It's cool to read old issues and see all the changes that have happened to ATV's and the sport. I would love to see STREET LEGAL QUADS.

I did a quick search and it looks like they did an article on the 400ex in Fall of 1998...it was an early release 400ex that they entered into the Baja 1000.

Does anybody know what dirtwheels said in the test between the 400ex and z400. i saw the cover on a page of a new mag. it was some 2003 issue i think. jw

the march issue has a article on the 400ex, i think taking about upgrades.
