Need your prayers guys

I just got back from the ER and my Dad had a heart attack and passed away today. I need some prayers from all of my friends here for my family to get through this rough time. Thanks atv riding family. I love all of you.

Thats the hardest thing you could go through in life, even worse this time of year. Sorry to hear and stay strong bud! Almost lost my father to a heart attack before. I couldn't imagine if it did happen, your a strong soul, wishes to you and your family. :(

thanks Pepper. I am still at a loss for words to tell people. Basically all that comes to mind is Thank you. I would not be able to handle this so well if it wasnt for all of my great friends. Even if i dont personally know you on here, I am still thank full.

So sorry to hear about this Nick. I am going to be the first to tell you that it really doesn't get any easier...you just learn to handle it better. It has been 6 years for me and I can easily work my way into feeling the same pain I felt that day 6 years ago. I had my dad for much longer than you but I still feel shorted.

It is so hard to lose the security of having your parents there for you but you will find that you have many good friends to lean on when times are hard. Reach out even if you don't think you need/want to. My best friend and I went through this together...his dad passed away 5 months before mine.

Grab some stuff that was important to you and your dad and protect it with your life. It can be as simple as an aluminum pipe wrench that you used on a project together. You will forever remember him and think about him every time you pick up that pipe wrench. I often imagine him being there with me in those times. It is comforting. A really good day is one that you dream about him. It is amazing how powerful the mind is to create life-like situations. There are days I get to see him as if he never left.

My prayers are with all of you. May God watch over all of you.

Hey Nick...Pop Dup here...So sorry to hear of your loss man...Try to think of the good times and celebrate his life...I kind of know your pain right now...I just got home from the hospital where my Mom was...She had a big time heart attack early this morning and when my brothers and sisters went there she was on life support...She had a living will and expressed that she did NOT want to live on life support...We honored her wish and they pulled the plug at about 12 noon today...She only lasted a few minutes...She was a good woman and lived a very long and happy life....Only thing we can do now is try to think about the good times we had with her while she was here on this earth....Do the same with your Dad...It will take a long time for the pain to go away but be strong man....Things happen for a reason...May they both Rest in Peace...

I am very sorry about your loss. I lost my father when I was 16 right after christmas. I had to go through high school and I took over his business without him. Make him proud, and do the best you can do with everything you set your mind to. He is always watching you, do things as if they were for him. Stay strong for your family, and your brother too. Keep positive, and things CAN ONLY get better for you and your family. Hang in there, if you ever need advice for anything PM me, and I will be more than happy to talk to you. My prayers go out to you and your family. Hang in there make him proud!
