Gearing Thread.

Out of randomness, and curiousity...

Post up your machine, MAJOR mods (engine work) tire size, and the gearing you run.

I have a 2002 400ex, with a full national 440 kit from DRI, im running 16/37 with 20-11-10 turf tamers and I want some more snap from it. Any suggestions?

Feel free to ask questions or awnser them if you have the knwoledge.:)

CP 12.5:1 other than that and a pipe, stock motor

18/10/8 Maxxis Razr Mx tires

runs pretty well for me, once the Vtec kicks in :D

06 450r, 13.5:1 piston, porting with +1 ex, stage 3, 43.5mm carb, fci intake, dasa pipe and dyna ign.
set up for mx with 18" tires, 14/38

if your wanting more snap, gear down a little.

well stock its the way to go .. now for track i go with 18 or 19 inch tall tires. you will get more snap .. and turn better.
