I need to replace them on my GF's 400ex. Just wondering where you guys got your and what kind. Just looking for stock replacements. Thanks

eBay or your dealer. (I really like All Balls Racing's bearings, the same that the dealer sells)

yea i just bought some off ebay 2 days ago cost me 20$ brand new. Boss bearings is what i think their called.

i go through the local shop, and i either get all balls or moose. moose is made by all balls by the way

BECARFUL! Alot of the off brands on there are JUNK! I bought brake pads off there once, lasted me a whole 2 days!! :rolleyes:

i bought pivot works the last time and they lasted the longer than factory honda and they're cheaper

yea i hope they hold up... if they ruin another swing arm for me i swear im just gonna part out the whole quad and start fresh lol

what signs can you tell that they are going bad or need replaced?

the best sign is when u can shift your weight from peg to peg and there will be play in carrier, you WILL feel it move and when it starts to do that replace them or it will look like this

I know when I first bought my ex off a dude.. first thing I did was have a new carrier and bearings put in.. I'll keep a eye on that though

just from my exp. when you can push the back tires forward and they just rock... well then ya know ya gotta problem. lol
