Has anyone installed a wet sump kit on either of these two engines? Is the a good mod? Any problems with it?
Thanks

Upside: Less hassle removing engine/less cluster, and cleaner look to the overall machine. Less weight.
Downside: Less oil in the engine. Frequent oil changes (I change mine every other ride depending on how long I ride it for), more cost on oil filters (unless you get re-usable ones). Engine tends to run a little hotter.

Since it's in an EX, just keep the oil tank, since the frame has a good space for it, and the engine sizes are close. The oil cooler/tank will help you out in the long run.
I did my conversion to a Laeger's 250R frame, so it was it would have been very cluttered had I used an oil tank.
