Wondering if anyone out there has the Edelbrock Carb on their 400ex. I have a FMF Powerbomb and Powercre 4 exhaust and I am running a K&N with the air box lid off. My stock carb adjustment screw is broken and it wont idle and runs like crap down low but rips up top. Instead of getting a new stocker, I was wondering if the Edelbrock would be an improvement.

I got one but I cant get the dam thing to run right with mine. I have been thinking about switchin to a stock carb if I cant get it running right. Has to be a simple problem because there is nothing to them.

I've got one on a predator 500 and the performance is an improvement on it, but the big drawback on that carb is the stiff return spring in combination with the resistance of the accelerator pump. It makes for a really stiff throttle. Adjusting it is easy. You either change out the needle, or raise or lower it using an external screw.
