it looks just like a k&n. the only thing is u have to really make sure the little boot is around the airbox plastic cause the part on the velocity filter is kinda flemsy and it wants to bend and not get a good seal.... u just gotta double check it. other than that i love it.

i strongly recommend staying AWAY from the velocity, when i ran it i ruined my valves cuz it lets so much dust in, all my buddies had the same problem also, the velocity sucks just as much as a K&N, i would never buy either one, either stick with a foam filter or if you can afford it get the fuel atv intake, thats what i have and its pretty much the ****

hey were u running a modified air box... like cut down to nothing. i was thinking about doing that but if u had valve problems i might be thinkin twice about this velocity filter.

im one of ltrracers buddies. my velocity was crap... i personally wash my filters after every ride, and after about 4 days my filter began to come apart... about 6 rides in a took if off to clean it and on top of each rib it had come apart and there was an open slit in multiple spots... cost me an arm and a leg in valves, now ive been alternating uni's for a whole season and they seam to do alright... i will definately invest in the Fuel intake this winter though. Ronnie's filter holds up very well and it keeps dirt out!

I agree, Fuel's is top of the line!:)

I'd check the For Sale sections for part outs and what not and try to steal one for cheap.
