What grade Titanium are you using?

If you can find what this is made out of, you will be doing good.

Its 120ft long, 55ft wing span. Weighs around 140,000lb fueled. Can fly @speed over 2100mph, and over 85,000 feet and can take heat on the body (from wind friction) at over 600 degrees without flying apart. It is top notch military aircraft titanium alloy.

For 100$ can anyone tell me what plane is in the background?

Sorry but I have looked around for a long time to find the right material to do what we need it to do. I do know that we use a few different grades of titanium to do certain things. Sorry I wish I could tell you more but I will sell you parts made with titanium if you would like. We will have a full line of parts made with titanium for 2003. They are awsome. If you have any questions e-mail me ddfish30@msn.com

dan i have heard some bad htings about titanium and maybe you can answer some questions i have. first i have heard titanium is an extremely brittle metal and will break easy if its exposed to the twisting forces and stuff that atv racing puts on a chasis. i heard this is especially true when welding ti (also a master welder is needed to weld the stuff but i'm sure your more than qualified) and to reduce the brittleness or whatever of welding you need to slowly let the final product cool, in an oven of some sort. just wondering if you realy think titanium can withstand the forces put on it.

well there is a ti chassis out there, it only weighs 18 pounds, i would think it is strong, or why would they use it for a racing chassis.

There are hundreds of type and grades of titanium. Most of them are very brittle if you scrath them, weld them, or flex them to far they will break. Their are many new blends that allow us to take titanium even further. We are now able to bend them with out breaking them and put them through allot of stress. If you saw are TT bike which is really ment for mx you would seen in TT racing that the bike gets very twisted in corners. All your weight is on one tire and one side of your piviot bolt. We put that bike through some serious load. We will have Keith Little race that bike in all the TT stadium races on the west coast. The two mx races he will use his 250R with CR450 motor. After the stadium races I will be testing our titanium bike mx only. We will test till it breaks. I have no idea how it will last but hopefully it will last. If it dose, their will be no bike to compete with it on the market right now. We are also very heavy into drag racing and we have made a titanium drag bike to hill climb. So far with both bike we have not seen any problems. Except one, is setting up your shocks is hard because you lose so much weight. The TT bike complete weight in at 265 pounds. That is about 35 pound heaver than the lightest drag bike. That is also about 50 pounds lighter than any TT bike. If all testing goes like we hope in march we will comeout with a titanium 250r frame with a CR450 motor. That is the hot bike right know and if you have a chance to ride one do it.
