My friends stock 400ex is way to slow it only goes 65mph. We have done everything to it muffler rejetted it no air box lid, and my stock 400ex would go 8mph faster than him

Is it carb?or what?

Only goes 65 MPH? That's about what a 15/38 geared 400 EX goes (65-68 MPH) whether it's stock or modified, the modded one just getting there quicker.

stock 400ex's do 63-65 max

82? uh i dont think so, it would have to be geared soooooooo high like a 16 front and a 28 rear with 22 ich rear tires

my 416 is about the same as stock, maybe 68-69 redlined

How much does he weigh? And what does he have on for tires. Heavy Tires make a diff. too.

Rich jetting can cause a loss in top speed and top end performance.

Put new rings in and tell him to break it in gently this time. You would be supprised how much more power a properly broken in 400ex has over one that was beat to start with.

Ya I heard that the Chines stickers add like 10-15 HP depending on how big they are.:D :eek:

well at 82 it should really blow that craptor away rather than just hanging with it, what kinda crazy fo wheelers you guys got in your parts:huh
