I am wondering how fast my 400ex with all this and a `16 front and 37 rear sprockets and 22 inch tires
460 big bore
weisco piston i think its 11.1 compression
step three hot cam
ported and polished head
hmf pipe and header
40mm lectron yfz carb

Just and estimation would be good on how it will go

not to bust your bubble but it isn't a step 3 it is called stage 3. but that would be pretty quick but the way i look at it is that for every hour you spend working on your quad to make it faster is another 4 you'll spend fixing the darn thing when it breaks. and the don't substitute power for skill unless your riding at the dunes! then go all out the faster the better i like watching the dumb people wreck trying to go to fast!

well i talked to a guy that used to drag 400ex s and he said in th1/8 he would run 78 but topped out he was running 86 with i think 18 inch tires 16/36 gearing but it might have been 20 inch tires so with a 16/37 gearing ratio with 22 inch tires u should be able to get a little more then what he was getting so i would say close to 90 wouldnt be out of the question i also have a 460 kit on mine with a stage 3 hotcam and new barnett clutches and im about to order the secondary oil cooler so i will know first hand in about a month what that monster will do

They don't make a 460 big bore.

If you want a 460 it has to be taken down to the cases and have a stroker crank installed.

The largest bore you can go on a 400ex is 440, after that you need a stroker crank.

GT Thunder has a 452 stroker. For the kit and installation it's 1500

oops, just noticed that you already have the stroker and your just talking about gearing.
