and probley some other things im forgeting.

also it needs a timing chain put in it.

ok so it was fun while it lasted.

i was at me niebors last night getting ready to come home.i started teh bike and let it idle to worm up.it set there for about 2 minutes and then just shut off.i tried to start it up and it is locked up tight,i think it probly dropped a vavle or jumped time.ill let you know what happen to it when i get it apart.

oh it jumped a few teeth so much better. theres should be more replaced than just a cam chain. when it jumps time you gotta check teeth and its always good to look at the bottome end. make sure it didnt slipp off there. dont go make it sound like put a cam chain in and its good as new.

you need to check to make sure the piston didnt kiss the valves.

From this punks track record its a big prob and worse than what he says and thats why he wants to trade it off.

not knowing if the motor is tottaly screwed ill drive to your doorstep with my 400ex and 200 bucks. i would be their weds night.

i already pulled the flywheel off and there are no teeth off of the crank or any off the cam gear.im goin to put the new chain on it and it will be good to go.and no the valves didnt bend or anthing.

no damage to the top of the piston? are you 100% sure the crank didnt bend?

The valves will hit the piston if its one tooth off, and your saying it skipped a few teeth.

Very hard to believe that theres no damage.

how did you check to see if the vavles were bent or not u look at them in the head and guess? seems like the type of mechanic you are

no dumb ***.i pulled the head off and used a valve remover to put on them and clamp it and take out the 2 little holders on top of each one and the pull off the springs and put the vavle in a drill and spin it and no woble.and i had to spend about $130 on gaskits and rings.

i think ur refering to a valve spring compressor and there are easier ways to check for a bent valve than that. and if your 100 percent sure of your work, and it comes with a cam chain why dont you just replace it and ride it? :rolleyes:

no i dont have anything to hide.and i am putting the chain in it and will ride it some but im still goin to sell it.


and i know you can just flip the head over and fill it with gas and see if it leakes out and if it does you have a bent or worn vavle.
