Well, I have a 250r right now. I am thinking when the motor goes, or by next winter I might want to start a hybrid project. My other option would to buy a roller, or beat on 400ex and start my build from their. I'm thinking, if I do any more work on my R chassis, I could just swap the motor into that and have a good base.
I like the look of the 400 ex over the R, but I'm wandering which you guys prefer. Any opinions will be greatly appreciated.

Also, which engine will be an easier fit into the 250r Chassis. I'm thinking I may do this during the winter months before spring. Any help would be great. I've had both atv's, I'm thinking the 250r Geometry is a little better than the ex. Seems like its a little longer.

YOU CANT MAKE A HYBRID OUT OF A 250R STOCK CHAS. IT WILL HAVE TO BE A 400 OR A 250R GEOMETRY FRAME.. THE AFTER MARKET 250 FRAME IS THE BST I HAVE ONE OF EACH AND THE 250 IS THE BEST HANDLEING QUAD I HAVE EVER HAD.. YOU CAN FALL ASLEEP OR MEET YOUR WORST ENEMY RIDIN ONE!!!

YOU CAN FAB AN R FRAME TO THE SPECS BUT YOUR WAY BEETER OFF GETTING A GEOMETRY FRAME THAN RUINNING A R FRAME TOO MANY FABS AND WEIGHT THE GAS TANK WILL BE TOO HIGH FOR ONE AND YOULL HAVE TO WIDEN THE FRAME BELOW THE TANK AND MORE JUST TRYIN TO SAVE YOU TIME AND MONEY BUD!!!
