I never even noticed he put his leg out...I was just amazed how hard that rhino landed...that roll cage bent. That Rhino was essentially put about 5 feet in the air and dropped.

If you'll notice all of the doors on the new Rhinos won't allow you to do that. It's natural to want to put your leg down.
