Sounds sick! That was the exact scheme I was going with except I chose a white frame with a black subframe. But I decided to invest in a rear shock instead of powder coat. Next winter will be pc time. Post lots of pics when it's done!

lol. Man I can't thank you enough for helping with getting it back together for me.

You ready to do it again? I broke the frame where the steering stem goes in at the extreme race a couple weeks ago.

OK... I have questions and requests...

* What tires are those? Like them?

* What is the weight like on the SS wheels?

* Is that a CFM Hydrocooler? Good investment?

Now for the request... would you mind to post a front shot of the quad so I can see how the bullhorn bumper fits up?

Nice job by the way...
Have you considered white add-on fenders?
I wouldn't mind having an all white one.

Here is the link about the tires:

http://www.exriders.com/vbb/showthread.php?threadid=382813

The wheels have surprised me. They are still pretty light. I think the set up with the SS wheels and Artrax tires is lighter than the stock set wheels with kenda knarlys. I was more worried about how strong they would be but so far so good.

The cooler for $20 bucks I figured couldn't hurt. I don't have a temp gauge on it to see for sure.

Here is a couple more more front shots of the bumber. Not very detailed but the fitment imo is great.

the fitment of that bumper was really great!! after the nut tabs slid onto the frame, the bumper fit very easily and pulled tightly very nice!!

I wish I would have asked you sooner about that skid/sprocket guard disc setup.

What is that combo?
GT Thunder and a modified skid?

Do you have any updated pics of how the powdercoat is holding up?

I haven't seen too many frames that have been powdercoated, how did you find it afterwards - lots of work to rethread holes or did they all get plugged?

All of the holes were plugged before pc work. As a precaution they were all chased with a taper tap to ensure nonstripped bolts. It only takes 5-10 mins to plug the holes...and another 1/2 hour to chase the threads with a tap. Well worth the effort to prevent twisted off bolts, broken tabs etc.

The pearl white frame is holding up great. Red clay slightly stained the boot area, but the pc is holding up great!!

The textured on the bumpers nerfs etc is holding up great.

what exactly did you do to the bike to break the stem holder on the frame? that just seems out there these frames are suposidly incredibly strong
