just wondering what you guys set your valves at and if i makes a difference what they are....

exhaust is .005

on the 05 do the valves set like the older bikes or do u have to shim them?

I just checked the valve clearances with the local honda dealership for my 02ex and they said 10 thousandths intake and 12 thousandths exhaust. Be sure you are doing this on a cold engine.

That is way too loose, it's 4 and 5 thousands like others have said.
