View Full Version : 450R Quad Tech Hoods HP-1/2

Does anyone know if you can still get either of these. I want to get either one in white, especially the HP-1, but the HP-2 came in plastic, so it is cheaper, I hate the new "pointy" look of all these new hoods and stuff. Trying to keep a similar look to a 250R, lol. Unless I have to get drastic and find a way to mount 250 plastic/tank on my soon-to-be 450R...

If anyone has pics or info on these hoods, post it.

Fourwerx makes a hood like that and Seth at SF Racing also had some like the HP-1, Quadtech does not make that hood anymore.

Yea wut he said... you might look on ebay but SF Racing and Fourwerx have the carbon one, best lookin hood for the 450r IMO

not to hijack or anything, but are there any hoods that i can keep the headlight for an 04? i could also use a 06+ if i get the headlight from one.

Quad Tech makes a replacement hood for the '04-'05s, but as far as scooped hoods I don't know.


Bill from QT got back to me and they make the HP-1 in plastic :-D

so that first pic you posted is available in plastic?? The old style? How much do they run??

I know one of my local dealer has some of the hoods in the first picture. www.lakecityhonda.com The hoods probably aren't listed on the site, but you could contact them about them.

So far to answer ALL questions....

contact Jay @ fourwerx... he makes hoods for what everyone is asking for it seems...

his are all carbon though, no plastics, but he does have some that keep the headlight.

i dont know if they still make them or not, they should, but anyway call james at jpmx 270-622-5644, he has em on the wall. good luck
