you can use the cams but you have to swap the sprockets. not an easy task. so you should just my intake cam. haha crower high grind mx cam

is the crower just like the hot cams, an when you said change the sprocket, would that be the front or back , what would i gain or lose from either one, I'm looking to do some changes while my repair guy has it opened up

he meant, u have to change the sprocket gear on the cam itself, u have to take the cam gear off the ltr and put it on the RM cams

yes going from stock cams to aftermarket cams will make a pretty noticeable gain in horse, my cams are great i absolutely love them, if you can afford web's then i would def buy them

its very common on the LTR to buy only one cam, and i believe it is the intake, because the stock exhaust cam in the LTR is pretty good stock so yes you can go ahead and just get the one and would be fine

cool, then if you get the one cam you should be happy, i advise getting a High compression piston also

id stay away from the piston for the riding you do. Its not fun to go ride the trails and have to worry about finding race gas, and paying the high price. With the cams, and your set you have already you should do fine. if you're lookin for more after that look into some head work.

the stage 2 hotcam is a popular one, its only 150 bucks too, my buddy just has that one in his race bike and is happy with it

is that just the intake cam or both cams an if i go that route would i have to do any other changes to the bike

LTRracer4

its just the intake... the exhaust cam is a waste of money unless you.re trying to squeeze every single ounce of power out of your bike.

oh ok thanks i have another question since I'm getting the hotcam intake, new timing chain, valves cleaned,an a new intake, with my trinity pc, can you run the cherry bomb with that, an should i change the sprocket with that to an a rev box

LTRracer4
12-23-2008, 05:04 PM
is the trinity pc an actual power camander that you can plug into a lap top and reprogram? if so then you just need to load up a new map to accomadate your new stuff. if this is the case then you have to run the cherry bomb as well. If you have any instalation questions or if you havent ordered the cam yet call the number in my sig, Joe from Titan will help you out. Tell him Chris sent you. He can help with just about anything you've got on your bike, and he has the power commanders down pat. shoot him a call
