sad to say, but theres really no benefit to selling a modded quad vs a stock quad. they will both bring about the same amount. for a 2000 i think you'd be lucky to get $2k.

after seeing all these atv's with more mods than mine going for alot less than what i paid for mine 2 years ago. i decided to keep mine and run it till it dies(which with a ex might be awhile). i would say about 2,000 tops.

I am sorry man but 13.5 to 1 compression requires racing gas and that **** is still expensive. I would buy it if the economy wasnt that bad but i have to save my money incase **** goes to hell

seen a couple of nice (well built) EX's lately go locally for $1800-2500. Most think of them as old technology (tractor motor) and with the state of economy and the price of fuel....nothing carries much value anymore.

Saw a 07's Rappy efi 700....brand new, 2 rides in the dunes. Sand tires F&R on extra rims, Flag, full exhaust, PC3, Intake system....went for $4500 and it took 5 months to get that. Guy paid at the stealership $7900 just 13 months ago.

Ya nothing is going for much right now. Took me about a year to sell my 300 for $1300 which had more than that into parts alone. When I was in the market for a 400 i saw a couple 440's for $1800-$2200.

Yea theres no way in hell I'm goin to let it go that cheap. I was asking $2800 obo. But I was gonna take $2500. Looks like I'm just gonna keep it. I've got a couple people interested it trading for a built motor for my Mustang. Guess I'm goin to try that. Thanks for all of the input guys. I would rather see it sit in my garage or get a motor for my car. Yea the last time I bought 112 cam2 a few months ago I payed $10 a gallon.

Yeah. You can pick up yfz's and 450r's in the low 2g range these days.

If someone see's a 440ex for 2800/2500 and then see a 450r for 2700 then they're gonna buy the 450r lol.

Im kind of happy. By the time im done with the 400 i can probably pick up a kfx450 for dirt cheap.
