About a year ago my dad finally gave me his 400, so in the past year i've worked for him and bought parts and rebuilt some stuff on it, and painted a few parts. Tell Me what ya'll think, and tell me if there's anything i need to fix

This is when he first gave it to me

this is when i had to replace the steering stem bearing

i painted the a-arms, engine mounts, steering stem, bumper, hubs, heat sheild, and the gas tank cover

i also traded my old renthal handlebars for my buddy's x-5's, and shaved the fenders because one fender was broke. i worked and bought a set of 450 front shocks .

and here recently, i bought a gripper seat cover and i turned the rear linkage around to lower the rear end

I've also added other things like the clutch, the 450 pegs, K&N w/outerwears, and a few little odds and ends

I've seen tons of similar 400ex's but for a reason I cannot pinpoint, that one looks awesome. Nice build.

looks good, the only thing i would change is the bumper. IMO a good bumper really makes a bike good good, all in all though you got a nice looking bike. i have a white brothers e-series too, it had the same dent in it when i bought my 400, same place and same size. what is that dent from? i can not figure it out and i saw you had it too so i thought you might know.

the dent in the can is put there from factory for clearance, but i have hit it a few times. i'm savin money for a bearing carrier cause my carrier bearings went out the other day. after that i'm gonna buy skid plates, nerfs, and a bumper

i turned the rear linkage around, it moves the bolt hole for the bottom of the shock back about an inch and so it lowers the quad. i've had it like that for about two weeks and it doesn't affect the way the suspension works

at the least an inch. but it makes a difference in the way it corners. when i get on mine it squats another inch so it sets way lower than stock
