what looks better? 450r gas tank/shrouds

I know this is for an trx450r, maybe I should have put it into the hybrid section. But I am building a atc450r, will be using a crf450r gas tank, radiators and shrouds. Any advanages to using the newer 05-08 gas tank/shrouds over the 02-04? The gas tanks, radiators and shrouds are different between the 02-04 and 05-08. Do they look better, cool better or have a slimmer feel? Sorry about the mixing of dirtbikes and custom framed trike, someone here might know more than me about the differences in here.

i would go for the 05+ CRF gas tank and shrouds. I like the way they look to. and it would look better than the 450r quad gas tank because its a huge quad tank for a motorcycle looking front end.

the trx450r gas tank never was a consideration. I'm going for a short track mx setup, so little gas tanks, get my weight all the way up the bars to put max weight on the front end and max turning radias. I'm building another similar, but air cooled 200x motor, 88/89 250r swingarm length. That one will get crf450r tank also, but I will have a 3 gallon tank mounted on that alot of the time.
