Thinking of buying a battery tender to put on my rincon in the winter. just wondering what kind some of u guys use and also is my battery a gel battery or just a regular 12v?

i use one from sears...cost about 30 dollars

I bought the one called Battery Tender ... works like a charm. I wouldn't think your battery is a gel type ..... if it's original check with your dealership ... but chances are it' s not a gel.

His battery for the 450r is a AGM type, which is considered a gell

Deltran Battery Tenders work well.

not sure of the actual size, but the chemistry is the same. hardly any modern atv's use lead acid "wet" batteries anymore.

I work at a bike shop we suggest a battery tender. there the best.. any shop should have them. i would keep it on all the time.it will keep the battery fully charged.. with the price of batteries who can afford a new one every year.

You know .... batteries for adult toys ... like trucks, cars, heavy equipment. ;)
