nope. just colors and updates fuel injection motor etc wise. just fine tuning.

NO major problems for a first year quad :D

Yeah there are like 3 different frame designs. An earlier 08, late 08 and an 09. The difference between the last two are very minor.

I think the compression is higher on the 09 and the throttle body is bigger

Two things changed on the frames. There is one frame that has the holes by your leg on the outside and a shorter piece of cast where the front single spar goes into the frame right behind the back lower a-arm mount. Then they updated the frame and the made that piece of cast longer make the point where the single spar meets the frame stronger. Then after that on frame design #3 they moved the holes by your leg from the outside of the frame to the inside.

they came out in 07 as an 08 model. i got my 08 in october of 07. and what we mean by the frame casting is the sides and the part where the single spar meets the frame are cast-aluminum (the rough spots on the frame

same thing with vehicles... anything from the 8th month of current yeat is for next year.. so 08/07 is technically a 2008 model.. Late production 07 for 2008 calendar year.. quads it doesnt change much , cars and trucks , it can mean the completely wrong part especially on fords
