people w/ maier plastics

i have an idea and a question. what purpose do the 2 holes directly in front of the seat on the front plastic piece serve? i'm thinking of rigging it fo i can put my reverse and neutral lights in those holes. there isn't much clearance between there and the tank, but the bulb housings are flexible. this would be pretty cool. i could always dent my tank so they could fit!

if im thinkin of the same peoce i think its so that your front plastics dont move forward and backward, i lost the bolts to mine and the plastics stay in place fine, i dont have lights on mine so i cant help u there

is the some kind of bracke the bolts go into? i'm thinking of making a piece of metal that goes underneath the 2 holes w/ the plastic push-fasteners. i also need to anchor the top part of my fenders in the front. with these plastics, what holds the fender onto that bar at the bottom where your shins would be facing? it says there is a washer in the oem parts fiche but idk how a washer would fit w/ out sliding off. i'm using cable ties but they keep popping off.

ohhh i was thinkin of the wrong ones, that should work i think those r just for support, i just have mine rest on them i dont have any bolts and it works good
